Personal BackgroundI am a Virginia native, born and raised in Suffolk, a small farming suburb of Hampton Roads. I spent most of my childhood summers between working on my father's family orchard with my grandfather, dad and brother and riding horses at my mom's family farm for fun. I grew up in a large typical southern family that is still a very important part of my life. I went to college in North Carolina (East Carolina) and painted houses to makeextra money. I then moved back to Hampton Roads to work for a shipping line as a boarding agent for 4 years. I transferred to a small family owned lumber company in 1996 handling sales betwen Va and NY until moving to Washington with an internet start up in 2001 - which crashed later that year. In 2001 I reincarnated as a Real Estate Agent with Coldwell Banker and have been with the same firm and office since then. My office is in Dupont Circle , yet home is still in Alexandria VA. Most of my real estate experience divides between NW Washington DC and the Arlington / Alexandria areas of Virginia.
